Temperature
We worms like to have a moderate temperature from 50 to 80 degrees fahrenheit, about 72 is an ideal temperature for our home to be cozy. Anything below 50 and we start to slow way down and anything above 80 we get too hot.
We like our homes to be moist but not too wet or we could drown.
We like to have air flow so that we can breath and keep the temperature down in our homes.
We like our food buried so we don't get lots of fruit flies. They don't bother us but they do irritate our keepers.
We like the dark and shy away from the light, but we do need our homes aerated at times so that we can move around more freely and have some air circulation.
If our homes become too dry our bodies dry out and then we could die.
We don't like Black Soldier flies and ants
